Please note that the MA Intercultural Humanities is one of several Masters program. Particularly noteworthy is the close cooperation of the program faculty with several MA programs at Jacobs University, such as the "Comparative Politics & Sociology", the "International Communication" and the "International Relations" Programs.
The MA program is registered as an international degree program with the DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service (see DAAD for more information about scholarships and the Higher Education sector in Germany).

Welcome to Bremen!

Bremen is located in Northwest Germany with good train connections with Deutsche Bahn - German Rail - to the rest of Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium as well as access to several airports (Bremen Airport, Hamburg Airport, and Hannover Airport).

The GSA (Graduate Student Assocation) addresses a whole number of potential questions on their website such as Porters, Registrar's Office, IT-Support, Assistants to the Deans, Counselling Center, but also Leisure Activities, Cinemas, Theatres and Concert Halls, Museums, Bars & Restaurants, Housing and so on in Bremen. Career Services and Internships

If you are interested in internships, mock interviews, help with applications ... the Career Service office offers a variety of workshops and online resources. Here are a few links.
Workshop Calender - most events take place during the academic year (September till June). For a quick overview, have a look at some of the past workshops.
Internship information - how to get a place and apply for vacancies. Please note that the MA IR program does not include any internships. Student are allowed to do internships during the semesters as long as the internship does not interfer with their work (such as papers which have to be written during the semester breaks).
Graduate CVs - Students graduating each year can put their CVs/resumes online for employers.
Deciding on a career - the IRC includes a variety of publications which may help you to decide in what area you might like to go after graduation.
